With the recent increase in makeshift houses in the area due to Mayon Volcano’s unrest, members of the Barangay San Andres community came together for a clean-up drive at the gym grounds of Sto. Domingo Community College in Sto. Domingo, Albay. This is to ensure that, even in case of a prolonged evacuation, displaced families can live in safe, hygienic spaces free from the risk of dengue and other diseases.

Meanwhile in Barangay Quiranga in Camalig, Albay, 53 displaced households received cash assistance last Saturday to purchase essential items for their prolonged stay at Bariw Evacuation Center, particularly for the well-being of older persons, children, pregnant women, and people living with disabilities.
