About the SRHR Resource Hub

During the COVID 19 pandemic, where there were restrictions in mobility and in-person training and capacity building activities among the Women’s Rights Organization-partners of Oxfam Pilipinas participating in the Sexual Health and Empowerment (SHE) project, an SRHR Resource Hub was created to meet the following needs:

  • Assist the partners in their internal capacity strengthening activities or learning sessions
    on SRHR;
  • Equip the partners to confidently conduct SRHR awareness-raising, education, training, advocacy and influencing activities among various audiences;
  • Provide easy access to technical reports, researches, manuals, resource books,
    policy brief on SRHR; and
  • Promote a sense of ownership.
What’s inside?

The SRHR Resource Hub contains a collection of Knowledge Products (KPs) developed and produced by SHE and its partners beginning 2020 to date. These come in the form of Research Study, Policy Brief, Journal, Briefer, Infographics and Modules The contents of these KPs were derived from evidence-based strategies and approaches on SRHR promotion and GBV prevention  which the SHE project has undertaken among women, girls, men, boys and people of diverse sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and sex characteristics (SOGIESC), in conflict-affected and geographically isolated disadvantaged areas (GIDA) of the Philippines.

The Resource Hub also serves as a repository of SRHR foundational videos which are excellent materials in raising awareness, education and training, advocacy and influencing on SRHR and GBV. The videos were conceptualized and produced by Oxfam Pilipinas in collaboration with some SHE partners, namely: Women’s Global Network for Reproductive Rights (WGNRR), UPCWGS, FPOP, AMWA, MIDAS.

The topics covered by the videos are:

  • Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR 101)
  • International and Local Policies and Mandates on SRHR
  • SRHR and Young People
  • Kabataan Knows: STI
  • Kabataan Knows: HIV and AIDS
  • SRHR and Islam in the context of BARMM
  • What are Feminist Teaching and Learning Methods?
  • Engaging Local Government Units in Mainstreaming SRHR in the Development Agenda

The videos are in English with local translations in Pilpino and Bisaya. A Playlist is provided here to watch all the videos in full.
