Oxfam Pilipinas showcases decade-long care wins in QC confab

On 12 March 2026, Oxfam Pilipinas joined the Quezon City (QC) Local Government Unit at the Transformative Care Policy and Practice Conference, organized by the QC Gender and Development Office in partnership with UN Women.

Executive Director Maria Rosario “Lot” Felizco shared Oxfam’s decade-long journey in advancing care—from deepening understanding of care work and transforming social norms, to developing practical solutions, and advocating for policies that institutionalize care in national and local governance.

Through the Care Connect and EmpowerHer projects, Oxfam Pilipinas continues to forge partnerships, including with the Philippine Commission on Women, to center care in gender justice work.
