Did you know that social enterprises already have gender- and care-responsive practices that could be good practices for #GenderEquality in the private sector?
Our new baseline survey reveals that 19 out of 20 enterprises are implementing gender- and care-responsive initiatives such as flexible work schedules, emergency family leave, and bringing children to work. These allow both men and women to perform care work and enable women to participate in economic activities.
Discover what’s fueling this momentum and how we can help them formalize the practice and be an inspiration for championing #GenderEquality and shared care work in the private sector. Download the survey results: https://oxfam.org.ph/download/empowerher-baseline-study/
The survey is an initiative under the #EmpowerHer project, which supports social enterprises in initiating, documenting, adopting, and championing gender- and care-responsive practices. It is co-implemented by The Institute for Social Entrepreneurship in Asia (ISEA), PRESENT Coalition, and Oxfam Pilipinas, with support from Investing in Women, an initiative of the Australian Government. #SocialEnterprise #WEEConnect
