We supported local women and partners in pushing for transformative initiatives that will improve living conditions including a) increasing their economic opportunities and capacities; b) providing access to information and services for their sexual and reproductive health and rights; and c) addressing harmful gender stereotypes and norms which hinder them from achieving their potentials. Our work in gender justice also includes providing gender-responsive approaches and innovations to disaster risk reduction and response, considering the neglected needs of women and children in times of emergencies.
