The Bamboo Landers Multi-sectoral Rural Workers Association is a multi-sectoral organization with ten active women members based in Buadiposo Buntung, Lanao del Sur.

Almaira Batua-an, an advocate of women’s economic empowerment, is the current president of the Kamapiyaan o Pagtao Ago so Ingud Association, an organization composed of women farmers in Dibarusan, Balindong, Lanao Del Sur.

In Barangay Batangan, Bubong Lanao del sur, a group of women farmers led by Amerah Manapar established Batangan Farmer Workers’ Association.

Civil society groups urged key national government agencies and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) for a gender-responsive, culture-sensitive, inclusive and socially-accountable national agenda on women, peace, and security.
